Marketing, Operational assistance and Financial Stability for Dimension7 Wellness Hub
Situation:
Dimension7 entered the project with three main priorities: clarifying its brand after the transition from Sunshine Yoga, reducing the overwhelming operational workload carried almost entirely by the founder, and stabilizing finances that were strained by monthly losses and an outstanding loan. While these priorities remained consistent, their urgency shifted as we gained a clearer picture of how strongly founder dependence and financial gaps were holding the business back. To understand our approach, it’s important to note that the studio was rebranding, redefining internal roles, and trying to correct a significant revenue deficit simultaneously, which created a complex environment where marketing, operations, and finance were all deeply interconnected.
Challenge:
Our client entered the project with several interconnected challenges that our team was asked to address. The most prominent issue stemmed from the recent rebrand, which led to unclear and inconsistent communication across marketing channels, particularly on social media where their presence was irregular, and did not communicate the new offerings of the Studio. This led to unawareness amongst customers.. Additionally, the studio’s operations were heavily dependent on the founder, creating workflow bottlenecks and limiting the organization’s ability to function efficiently. The business was also experiencing ongoing financial strain and needed clearer insight into its revenue gaps and overall financial stability. Overall, the main challenge centered on helping Dimension7 clarify its identity, strengthen internal structure, and better understand its financial position to support sustainable growth.
Approach:
To tackle Dimension7’s challenges, our team first interpreted the situation as a rebrand that wasn’t being clearly communicated, an operational structure that relied too heavily on the founder, and a financial model that placed the studio at a monthly deficit. We emphasized the Marketing and Strategy pillars because Dimension7 needed both a stronger public identity and a clearer roadmap for redistributing workload and stabilizing revenue. Before creating deliverables, we researched how previous clients perceived the transition from Sunshine Yoga, analyzed local competitors in the Lafayette wellness space, and reviewed all available income, expense, and class utilization data to understand the true financial picture. For marketing, we built reusable social media templates, drafted branded content themes, and outlined a consistent posting schedule across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to help Dimension7 communicate its holistic identity and improve outreach, focusing on partnerships with local businesses. We also wanted to leverage the proximity to Purdue’s Campus by potentially partnering with Purdue Athletics.. On the operations side, we created detailed role descriptions for existing staff, developed an internship position with an application template, and mapped workflows to reduce the founders administrative burden. For finance, we created a break-even model, evaluated the impact of proposed investments like the soundbed, and identified high-margin opportunities such as private sessions and specialist room rentals. Through this process, we learned how deeply intertwined branding, operations, and finances were for a small wellness studio, reaffirming the importance of Rem and Company’s holistic, high-value approach to supporting resource-constrained clients.
Impact:
The collaboration with Rem and Company provided Dimension7 with a stronger operational, financial, and marketing foundation that directly addressed the studio’s most pressing challenges. The implementation of structured social media templates and a consistent content framework enabled the business to communicate its rebrand more effectively and broaden its reach in a sustainable, low-effort manner. Operational tools such as defined role outlines and an internship structure helped reduce founder dependency and introduced clearer internal processes. In addition, the financial analysis equipped the studio with a precise understanding of its break-even point and the revenue streams most critical to long-term stability. As a whole, the engagement positioned Dimension7 for more informed decision-making and improved organizational resilience moving forward.
