Digital Brand Expansion and Marketing Strategy Development for Torch and Tallow
Situation:
The client’s primary priority was to expand beyond their reliance on local, in-person sales by strengthening their digital presence. While their commitment to handcrafted, locally sourced products remained consistent, their focus shifted toward increasing online visibility and customer reach. Before this project, most sales were generated through farmers' markets, with limited emphasis on a structured website or consistent social media presence.
Challenge:
The main challenge for the client project was to revamp the client’s website to make it more effective at driving online traffic and converting visitors into customers. In addition, the team was tasked with helping the client build a larger and more consistent social media presence. This included developing a clear, easy-to-follow social media strategy the client could maintain long-term. Together, these deliverables were intended to support the client’s goal of expanding sales beyond the local and regional market.
Approach:
Our team identified that the client’s core challenges centered around limited online visibility, inconsistent digital branding, and the absence of a structured social media system to support long-term growth. To address this, we emphasized Rem pillars of Marketing, User Experience, and Strategy, as each was essential for strengthening the client’s digital presence and improving customer engagement. Prior to implementation, we researched the client’s current website performance, social media activity, target audience behavior, and competitor digital branding within the handcrafted goods market. We then executed a three-pronged approach consisting of a full website revamp to improve navigation and conversion, development of a consistent social media content strategy, and creation of reusable social media templates to streamline posting. Additional deliverables included a long-term posting schedule and content guidelines to ensure sustainability beyond the project timeline. Through this process, our team gained hands-on experience translating brand identity into scalable digital systems, reinforcing Rem and Company’s value in producing practical, growth-oriented solutions for clients.
Impact:
Through Rem and Company’s collaboration, the client gained a significantly stronger digital foundation to support growth beyond local, in-person sales. The redesigned website improved navigation, visual branding, and overall professionalism, making it easier for customers to engage with the brand online and complete purchases. The social media strategy and templates provided the client with a sustainable system for consistent posting and audience engagement, reducing the burden of content creation. Together, these deliverables positioned the client for long-term scalability and increased brand visibility outside of their regional market.
